That should work.  Let us know how the sound install progresses.

I did not get the Li-Ion battery set up BTW...but you think that I can just replace the battery back included with my hilt and just put this one in..cause if I can then I am one happy person

If the batteries that came with your saber are LiIon, then you need to continue on with the LiIon setup.  Changing between LiIon and Alkaline/NiMH is not good because the electronics are set up differently.

I understand that completely, I did not get the LiIon setup, I just got the regular battery set up. That is why I am asking if the combo will work for my hilt...thank you for clarifying though

you need to keep the voltage the same, or close.

Voltage is something you're gonna have to pay close attention to.  If you want an idea of a setup, here's a link to our installation of an UltimateFX board:

Great thank you for the video! Will the Voltage will be hard to figure out or is it something easy? Will this combo work in the Aeon or is the Aeon just not compatible at all?

The hilt doesn't inherently matter, apart from the size inside of it.  If the board fits in there (with all the wiring) then it will work, if not... maybe try making your own out of PVC or something.

Keep in mind you'll need holes in the pommel to let the sound out...

We used a three AAA battery pack because the board was driven on three AAA batteries in the toy itself.  If you stick with a comparable power source to the original you should be good.

I plan on getting the 4 AAA speaker/ battery holder so I just hope that everything will turn out ok cause I am looking for a loud speaker but not a speaker that will be super annoying...LOL
