So my wife asked me what i might want for our Anniversary. I said a new saber. We set down on the 6th of February and she picked the hilt and all the details she wanted it to have. She got me a SS Raven with DVA led and Silver FoC , blue AV switch and quick disconnects! Then we placed the order. The following day I recived an email from Deep saying I had won first prize in the Phantom Raffle! Woot... it was a Darth Maul UltraFX conversion battle saber! Then I used the reward points to get a grab bag , I recived it today ... a Dark Liberator in GB ! All I can say is WOW! Now for the review.... The SS Raven is beautifull Lighter then I had expected.   http://youtu.be/GSlSV-6j2EIThe Maul Ultra FX is nice. I cant use it in staff form due to the knobs are very uncomfortable. However for dual wield it works great!! The Maul was converted by Ultra Sabers and has super bright BR leds! The Rave is defiantly a 2 handed battle saber. The effect you get from the DVA and flash on clash Silver gives a Force Lightning effect. The pommel is deep and gives great resonance , the blue AV switch makes for a cool accent on a dark hilt. The claws on the SS just go and go and go...AWSOME! I got a Midgrade blade. The craftsmanship that went into making and designing this saber is superb ! Thank you very much to Ultra Sabers!

WAY too much. This needs to be locked before anyone has a seizure  Seriously though, those are some great sabers. What's the blade length on the Maul? |

The Maul came with 32" Midgrades ! However for my kidds I put in 24" Midgrades for the vid. They prefer the shorter blades.

Thanks. The Raven looks startlingly awesome, and it was never one that really stood out to me before (beyond the obvious uniqueness). You get a point.

Great review Vex! I have to say that your raven is the coolest one i have seen yet. The color of the led and the av switch just makes that saber really unique.

Nice. The Raven looks killer. Your wife has good tastes for sabers.  If I can ever manage it though, mine wants a Dark War Glaive, siler claws, Consular Green Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade, Obsidian with green av button, and li-ions. Shes a green freak. My next saber will be regular VA though. |
