I'm guessing I can talk about anything in this thread so here it goes.
 My family and I were driving home to night and as we got off the freeway ramp there was a homeless man with a sign. The kind I have seen many times before in different times and places through out my life. Sometimes I'm annoyed and thing to myself, go get a job.  Tonight was different. I really truly new inside this guy needed help. We had no cash on us I thought as we drove pass.  I then told my wife what I was feeling about this man.  My wife said let's go find an ATM. We got some money and drove back maybe ten minutes later.  The man was gone. We drove around looking for him, but could find no trace of him. Now I'm sick inside and i can't stop thinking about this man.  

Seth, you didn't have any cash when you first saw him. Don't beat yourself up. Maybe donate that money to a kitchen or shelter. Children's hospitals constantly need toiletries for parents who have unexpected stays. Women's shelters need feminine products all the time.

You can still do some good with it.

That's totally happened to me before.

I go to the city sometimes, and there are numerous homeless folks there.  Most times, I just think "you made you own bed, pal...", but one time I saw a guy that just looked so desperate, and destitute.  I bought him lunch, and hung out for a bit...

I remember the switch in the games. The logic was to not reward those, because people were getting astronomical post counts in days, and many of those only required single word posts. Maybe they're using similar logic for the entire off topic subforum. I guess they want to reward conversations about, you know, sabers. I'm just guessing here, though.
