Hi Guys, Just finished my latest custom job, The Seraphim. (sorry about the delay between posts, I have been away on holiday with my family.) This is gonna be another long post sorry guys
The Seraphim started out as a second hand standard issue staff which i won off ebay, I then scratched my head and ummed and arred about which direction to go in, do I (A)weather it or go for another idea floating around in the back of my skull, Plan B (considering that there is not much going on in my skull or so wife keeps telling me, I went for plan B)
I had an an Idea for An almost angelic warrior strong in the light side of the force, My main feeling for this staff was Shinny and imposing.
The Method to my Madness
i Use a good metal polish and really buff up the hilt.
ii Insert thick O-rings into each groove.
iii Hit The local car boot sale and cast my beady eye over their wares and purchase shinny things (I got a couple of cheap bracelets and a few shinny belts with sequins and diamantes on)
iv Take great care not to be seen by anyone you know buying dodgy girly things
v Dismantle Shinny things
vi Work out how the bit n bobs would best go on
vii assemble
viii Stand back and admire
Another important thing I wanted was to be able to easily reverse the modification. The O-rings kept everything nicly in place so apart from the swithces no glue or solder was used, like I said before completly reversible.
Another important thing to mention is this saber is now not for duelling with as bits would fly off everywhere. (Should I need to duel with this I can take off mods and put them back on later)

Like I said before I wanted to make a weapon fit for an angelic being of Light and I think this fits. I am of two minds to drill liberator style holes in the end but I dont Know if that would be too much, what do you guys think? Kalibos
