If it was an option in the menu, I can't see not selecting nickel plating. I have one of the nickel plated Liberators. Love it. But my guess is the option would be in the menu if it was that easy to supply both standard finish and nickel.

Has there been an official reason given on why this isn't an option for all sabers in the lineup?
I would love for Emory or someone else from US to chime in on this thread to give us their thoughts.

It's a matter of demand. The Guardian he said was a test at Christmas and is now a regular option.
The Liberator was removed because of low demand due to it's price being $30 more than a regular Liberator.
What I find interesting is the Monarch has not had the Plain non-nickel option for about a year now...

I'd love to see more Nickel Plated parts, too. A Nickel Plated Shock Pommel would be a perfect match for an Overlord with Nickel Plated Emitter  |

Agreed. If all parts were nickel plated, I could even see buying a second Manticore just because of how awesome that looks. My only concern is whether it might be a hilt that looks better in plain silver (like, in my view, the Graflex and Consular do). |

Who wants this Silver Manticore Design in Nickel!!! That looks amazing! I want one so bad now lol. I love the look of the nickel plating. I don't currently own any, but eventually hope to get at least one of them. Its such a nice touch and more sabers should definitely have the option, especially the premium ones. I imagine the Shock would look gorgeous in nickel. |
