Very nice.

Your master looks like he has been there and done that.

The apprentice looks like he has fire in his belly and wants to prove himself.

A well done contrast between your two alter egos.

Can you imagine an epic lightsaber battle in a carbonite chamber, jumping from catwalks.......oh wait, that did happen, never mind  Cheesy

Thanks for the kind words.

Maybe our battle would have been more epic.  Tongue

Zippers certainly do exist, look at the Rebel Pilot flight suits.  They're covered by fabric, but this is Luke from Empire on Hoth.

They exist on the real world costumes but they're not shown - we're supposed to imagine there's a 'space-fastener' under that flap; you won't see someone using a zipper, just like there are laces on Obi-wan's TPM boots, but they're covered to give the illusion that they're slip-on.  Hey, I'm just the messenger, I don't make this stuff up.  It is known Khaleesi.  Wink

Heck, there aren't even frame-style belt buckles in Star Wars!  (with the exception of an alternate costume in The Force Unleashed which some say counts as canon).

Again, I don't care personally - just sharing what's out there.   Grin

Remember it's your costume, do whatchalike!

I think Han actually has an open faced buckle on his pants belt in the original movie...but you are right CZ3RO, you generally do not see them. He may well be the only one.

Maybe we can explain away some of these quirks like this...

Zippers, snaps, buttons, etc. are a waste of valuable metal needed for blasters, ships, droids...whatever....so the people in the Star Wars universe use a lot of wrap around style clothes.

Laces are not popular because they get snagged on stuff in star ships.

I am just pulling this out of thin air for fun and to try and justify these things we see are part of their universe.  I have no facts to back this up. Cheesy

Yes, but given the proliferation of droids, blasters, ships, etc. I would venture to guess there's plenty of scrap metal to go around for making zippers, snaps, and buttons.

Here is a quick picture of a different look for my character. I was taking pictures for my post about the NERF blaster and holster and threw this outfit together in about 60 seconds from stuff around my house. It came out so good I thought I would share it.

This is "Jedi on secret mission posing as smuggler,"  OR  "Dork," which ever you see it as. Cheesy

Lol. At first I thought this was a picture of Sheldon from The Big Band Theory.  Point for that.

Good costume too.

Excellent costume.  Do you have any pictures without the lightsaber? I would love to see the details with regular lighting, if you have such pictures.

Thanks, photos without the lightsaber I have not, I have a picture where you can see lots of light a little more detail.

Whenever I get the boots will put more detailed photos.
