I am also trying to learn guitar. I just have a cheapy to practice on right now... looking at a Tele Thin line though when I earn her.
Great choice! I LOVE Telecasters. It's a combination of their great shape and that signature twang that works well with all genres of music that makes them so great. Definitely a very versatile bunch of beautiful instruments. |

the trumpet is my current pride and joy. It was given to me as a gift by a fellow trumpet player back in my Honor Guard days. Needless to say I was humbled and shocked when he gave it to me. The scary part is he got an even nicer one apparently and wanted to hand that one down as someone else had given it to him. One day, I'll do the same.
one of my best friends played on New York 37 that hand been handed about for quite a while, I think that the person who had it before him was his cousin, Anyway the case had a ribbon with the names of all the people who had played it and a not from the original owner asking that it be passed to a musician in need when you are done with it, he handed it off to one of the guys we played with when his horn was stolen. I don't know where it is now, but that attitude is what sets musicians apart from any other group of people. as for the mouthpiece you use, well, I have fat lips so I usually use a 1C. |

That would be awesome. I asked my neighbor once if he knew anyone that would be interested, but he says that all of his musician friends are into classic rock and blues only. That wouldn't work at all. lol. |
