Just got my 40" UEHG blade today to finish off my custom saber: [img width=800 h30]http://i.imgur.com/8dpcCRl.jpg[/img]  Shroud less reapers always look good, as long as you can make up for the gap! Great job on customizing it to your liking...kinda reminds me of the SI but with more! Phenomenal choice in pommel as well. |

Does the blazing red look like red? From the photos it looks like it might have an dark orange tint.

It's a pure red, but can cast an optical illusion that makes it look like it has an orange tint. Trust me having 2 Blazing red sabers it is pure unadulterated RED!!! \m/, |

Since red is my favorite color, and my second favorite lightsaber color, I guess I should post here. My Consular, with a Blazing Red MLS unit in:   This last one is the same hilt, but it's actually a sort of costume I threw together when I first got that red MLS unit, based on an RP character I have who is an Emperor's Hand:  A Consular in blazing red....I love it!!!!!  |

For pure intimidation, the War Glaive is hard to beat. But personally, of all the reds I've seen, I like the Manticore the best.
Discosure: I don't own any red sabers myself, outside of my RGB Bellicose, which also looks pretty cool in red now that I think on it... :-)

Yes, the Dark War Glaive in red is an intimidating combo. I have it in RGB and it is mostly used on either red or yellow. Oddly enough I haven't bought any red sabers. The only ones I have were grab bags.
