Being new to the electronics side of sabers, I've been wondering, what are all the electronics inside an initiate V2 saber? From what I can see its just the bat. pack, the switch, and an LED.

Thanks guys So im assuming that these electronics can me switched and moved to a different saber body like an MHS compatible hilt.

They can. The LED module will only work in select sabers though. Make sure you check for compatiblity before you do. Ex. My Archon v1 and Liberator v3 use the same LED module. This module cannot work in my War Glaive or Overlord. Vice Versa. |

Yes, it's all about the diameter with the LED/MLS units. The US site does have the compatibility list, but if you are unsure, drop Emory an email to confim any suspicions. |

As to the LEDs, this is the best way to figure it out: if it's a V2 or select V3s (other than Archon V2) it most likely uses the LED unit. If it's a MHS (Modular Hilt System) saber, then it uses the MLS unit...generally speaking. For example, my Dominix V3, Liberator V3 and Dark Prophecy V3 use LED units while my Arbiter uses the MLS unit. Hopefully that helps a bit!

That helps very very much ! Thankyou! but only one question if I were to transfer my Initiate V2 electronics into a tcss mhs hilt who's emitter diameter is 1in" on the inside, same as my initate would i need to get an mls or use my existing led?

You should be fine with what you have. The MLS units are wider than 1" at the top. They have a lip so they can sit inside portions of MHS parts without sliding. |
