I... never... even had caps for my blades.

I received one when I ordered my 40" blade, but other than that, I usually just keep my blades in the sabers, or upright with the open end down.

Same.  It's a good idea to use them if you have them, but I have no idea where mine are... well, the few I have anyway.

I usually just tape the bottom of my blades with blue painters tape when not in use.  Tongue
