Either a real world image or a piece of artwork...something that says...this...this is where I would be happy or secure or whatever you look for in a place...build your perfect retirement home, a temple, an academy, whatever...but make it a good one. ***** How about the Hanging Temple of Xuankong Si combined with the Hallelujah Mountains of Pandora?      A Jedi retreat...on some planet...there are so many...somewhere nice. |

I would build a large home that combines the aesthetics and defensibility of a medieval style castle with the aesthetics of Italian villas and ancient Greek architecture. It would be defensible and self-sufficient, yet beautiful and open, with every convenience. As to location, I'm guessing I would build it on an overgrown, yet rocky terrain in a tropical paradise.    |

How about over the whole of the upper falls just before the break...on a bunch of columns, using the water flow for power, etc. A bit elfy I know but how about the way Rivendell hangs over the water?  Rivendell which looks all Jedi anyway! Wooo...and Wookie friendly...wooohoot! |
