Blade shimmer effects?

Hi all, just a quick question.  I'd really like to get a saber with blade shimmer effect.  Is it the sound board that controls this?  Either way, is this an option with ultra sabers?  The only place that seems to have this option readily available is saberforge, but an internet search of their company yields a LOT of complaints and negative reviews.  Not talking negative, just stating fact.  I would much rather deal with ultrasabers, though so far I dont see this as an option on any of the sabers.

Yes, this is something that can be controlled by a soundboard.  The newest version of the Obsidian board is actually capable of doing this I believe, it produces a subtle shimmer to the blade if you order Flash on Clash.  You can contact Ultra or Deep to confirm this.

I know this is an old thread but what did they have to say?  I am interested in this effect as well as it was demonstrated by a saber on xsabers.com

This is a group of videos made by members of saberforum that have Flash on Clash effect via the newest Obsidian Sound Board.  Take a look and see if any of the effects are what you are interested in.

Well I was thinking more of the idle effects like slight instability in the blade.  Other members say there are sound fonts that sound like the blade doesnt light right away and such and the blade doesn't match the sound.  So to have the lighting tied into the sound would be a really neat effect.  But for my personal interest for that last little bit of realism to have a blade slightly dim and shimmer randomly would make it look so real and cool.  To have it match ignition and other sound fonts would be a plus.  The flash on clash is a good start though!  I think I will wait to buy a saber when this feature becomes available.  I would be so mad to drop a few hundred on one of these bad boys and see later this feature comes as an option .  But I am very interested in starting a little collection for myself and my son hint hint...
