I'm no expert sabersmith, but I can tell you that you'll need to learn how to solder, and get the equipment to do so. (basically a soldering iron and some solder, wire, and heat shrink) As for parts, you need a Main Body section of some type, a Pommel, and an Emitter. You'll want to make sure everything you buy for those parts is MHS compatible. Then you need a Battery Pack, Switch, LED, and Blade. If you want sound, you'll also need to buy a soundboard, and you will have to make sure your switch is momentary, as well as make sure that your battery pack is a battery/speaker combo pack. If you don't want sound, then your switch will be Latching.
Then all you'll need is to put it all together, which others could explain much better than I.
