ok, finally decided to get one with all the bells and whistles, now that I've been employed for a while. Gonna get The Arbiter in guardian blue (though MLS for future switch outs), flash on clash with silver, and so forth. Not cheap but honestly I've bought swords for my collection that were more expensive before and these things in themselves are pieces of functional beauty.

one of the reasons why i'm thinking about this so seriously now rather than later is that the Arbiter still has the obsidian Inductee price on it, 75 bucks, but I'm weighing buying it immediately or holding off for just a little bit longer for various reasons, not all of them that important. The thing thats got my trigger finger itchy over the buy button is, however, that I don't know how long the inductee price will last. I don't want to put off ordering this long enough for it to shoot up to full price, but the longer I can hold off the more fiscally sound it could be.

how long do inductee prices usually last? i'm not really aware of the criteria for them being in place so its like I'm working against a timer clock I can't actually see.

It's something that's been in effect for a while... as of now only the V3 hilts have the regular price ($95 for Obsidian installed).  Ultra has hinted that it's not gonna last forever, but an official timeline has never been revealed.

If you really need to wait, it's probably not a big deal.  When you're looking at the cost of the saber, that extra $20 isn't a huge deal.
