First mystery box ... battery pack wont remove??

I just got my first mystery box that included a dark sentinel v4 with obsidian lite sound. The problem is the battery pack wont come out. I cant even remove the light so I can poke the battery pack out from the other side! Help??

Tap the edge where the pommel threads in on a table until it starts to slide down. Don't be afraid to give it a good smack.

There should also be a small pull tab once you get the battery pack/soundboard out. Then maybe for your particular saber tie a small string or something if you can around the pack. Plus pics whenever you get a chance to

Thanks to Cyclops a real nice explenation:
Take a towel, fold it over twice so you have four layers of fabric, and place it on a table.  Take the pommel off your saber (assuming you’ve put it back on since the last time you messed with your saber), hold the saber vertical over the folded towel, and smack the base of the saber FIRMLY on the towel.  Be sure to keep the saber vertical when you do this, and don’t be afraid to start getting insistent with it... if you’re anything like me, you’ll start off being very gentle, because you don’t want to damage anything, because as you say... it’s expensive.  That’s okay, and it’s perfectly understandable... just remember that the towel will protect both the table and the saber, so you have some room to get quite firm with your efforts.  If the speaker/battery pack/circuit board is stuck in there that well, you might need to smack the saber harder than you first think.  Hopefully, this violent action will loosen the assembly and let it slide to the bottom of the saber, and you’l be able to shake it the rest of the way out to where you can grab the edges with your hand.
