Question: Violet Amethyst vs Blue Violet Amethyst (Prev. Dark Amethyst)

Are there any good videos/pics clearly comparing Violet Amethyst and Blue Violet Amethyst (prev. Dark Amethyst) in the UltraEdge Mid Grade?
Concerned the Violet looks too pink and the Blue Violet looks too blue. I need a true, strong purple for The Emporer's Hand. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The emerald driver or diamond controller would let you customize the purple you want.

Unfortunately, the colors are so close together that I can't seem to get pictures to show the difference.  I even tried to do a video with my Diamond Menace idling between the two and you can't tell there is an idle effect in the video.  In person you can tell a difference between the two, but not in pictures and on video (at least not with my iPhone).  My preference between the two for a truer purple in the VA.  The BVA is too blue. 

I will echo what Illyiss said and get a diamond or emerald controller.  In there I got a nice purple going B=128 R=25.  This is essential half the values of the BVA, but because it is dimmer it doesn't wash out the color.  It is a nice, rich color with out too much red or blue.  I'm planning (pending approval from the principal) on starting a "Star Wars" club at our school.  With our colors being purple and silver, I plan on using that LED mix for my blade.

Thanks for the input! I'm getting the Diamond so I look forward to tweaking the colors. When I put in my initial order, I'll pick the VA then go from there. You both have been very helpful. I appreciate it.

Oh, and if you have your FoC color be silver (white), that would be really cool!  or maybe mix it in as an idle effect?  VERY good thinking there!

Yes, the Green and White are both set to zero.  I did try an idle between the silver and each of the purples.  I didn't like it as much as I hoped.  It seemed to be more silver than purple.  I'm going to keep working it in preparation for my next diamond saber.
