Hello my name is Daniel and we have started an Jedi Academy in Houston!
We are looking for non bulky but padded gloves. We have tried the laducia or whatever but the site is down.
Any ideas or advice? Price is not an issue. White, Tan, or Brown preferably.

welcome to the forums. I think what you're looking for is lacrosse gloves. try the "play it again sports" and save some cash in the process. there is another group in Tx. as well. let me know if you'd like their FB page link.

Hello and welcome If I may suggest: peruse the other threads in the forum, especially the Saber Artistry & Combat, Costumes, and Fan Fiction sections. Some excellent threads are there

Welcome! I would recommend going for protection over aesthetics or flexibility when it comes to gloves. Especially if you will have some newer practitioners at your academy. The hands are most frequently targeted and vulnerable in saber combat. We have had bone breaks and more than a few bad bruises. No one wants to be out of action with an injury. Lacrosse gloves are a good option. However, I would suggest you do a search online for “HEMA” gloves. These are designed with sword fighting in mind. Red Dragon is a brand preferred by many AFA students and offer superior protection. Good luck! Hope you stick around and update the forum on your club.
