Laser Engraved Hilts

So I have a laser cutter and engraver with a rotary attachment.  I have been throwing around the idea of tossing my aeon v4  in there and adding some scroll work on the hilt or even the Jedi/sith code .  I haveing a hard time finding a pattern I like and was looking ideas.  As well as ideas to display the sabers.

I have been thinking about doing that too I have a CNC with live tooling . As far as the laser goes you'll need a fiber laser to really mark the aluminum   60 W CO2 laser this really is not the way to go I have tried with mine and just was not happy with the output my friend has fiber laser and it  marks and eches into the aluminum  .it has a much better. Look    Just my 2cents

I have some enduramark to do chemical marking figure i will give it a try one of these days

as always use a scrap piece first and see if you like it
