So, I'm wondering if normal stunt sabers can be fitted with color filters, basically.  My Sunrider's Destiny Aeon v4 shows up far too green for my tastes, and I wanted to see what I could to do bring it into a more teal/aquamarine color like SRD should be.  Any certain filter colors I should try to use?

I've heard (arguably) that Lee filters are the best. However, another option would be Apollo filters which you can get a free swatchbook of filters from them. Hopefully that helps!

I use LEE Filters, they're much better than the color discs. You can get a free swatchbook from them too:

I emailed the place closest to me, drove out there, and got my sample.

Since sunrider is made of green and blue diodes, go for a blue filter. It will basically block yellow and green. I think you won't need a major strong filter, since you're just shifting a little more that way. I have an adegan silver, and my Lee filters are great for lots of options. However, getting true blues require using a strong filter that blocks a large percentage of light. But, hopefully, you'll only need a light blue filter to just absorb a little green to let blue stand out.

And, of course, make sure the batteries are good and charged. Sometimes the diodes get off balance when the battery gets low, and one diode eats all the power.

So go for a lighter blue shade, perhaps something sky-blue?

I've heard that attempting to filter your colored blade will do nothing more than dim it. But it'd be interesting to try with the Lee filters.

Yes, any filter will dim the light. But, you're going for dimming the green while letting the blue stand.

Your diodes are a combination of green and blue, which saturates the cells of our eyes in a proportion that results in perception of cyan. In my Lee filter set, I have a cyan looking filter, which is basically sunrider's destiny to my eyes. I could go insane with color theory information, but I'll restrain myself. The filter will absorb light and dim your blade. Each filter has a rating for what percentage of light will be blocked. Example: I have a lime green that blocks 18% or something. My adegan silver looks great with yellow, orange or light greens and light blues. I can't say if it will do exactly what you're going for. If you can get the filters for cheap, it's an option to experiment.

If you're going for major change, it won't do so well. My deep blue filter gets a nice blue, but blocks 80% of the light, leaving me with a blue that only looks good in a dark room. So, I don't mean to raise expectations. If it is clearly green to you, contact US. Perhaps the blue diode isn't getting power or something.

Sensitivities vary. My partially color blind friend sees cyan as white, but has an easier time distinguishing between yellow and orange than me when we play Rocksmith. Which makes it difficult for us to even talk about the game, because he keeps saying the "white one", and I'm like, "You mean blue?" And I can't tell where I should put my finger until the yellow number gets bigger and stops looking orange.

I am somewhat concerned that it's my own eyes deceiving me, as I do know that certain particular shades of green read as other colors to me: example, very dark green reads as brown or black to my eyes.  But my roommates tell me I'm not crazy, that the color really is more on the green side.  When you choose your color in the ordering process, the example image for SRD shown on that saber looks very cyan/teal to me, right?  My Aeon v4 only reads a little bit of blue when I stare at it for too long.  If anything, I'd say that my saber begins to edge into the territory of Emerald  Green, which is the lighter of the two Green options at US, with Consular being a more vibrant hue of green.

I may take some pics under various lighting, and let US judge them.  I mean, at the end of the day, its still a nice color, but its not QUITE the one I asked for.
