Is it hard to grip and as thick as it looks? Just looking for anyone who does any of type of dueling/spinning with it to see how comfortable it is before I think about getting it.

It isn't the easiest to duel with and the grip area is definitely thick. With practice it got easier to spin but I never quite felt like it was an extension of my hand, and the grips made my hand raw after moderate use.Definitely my favorite decorate hilt though!

It's a little unwieldy, that's for sure.  I think it's decent for 2-handed combat, especially if you like wearing gloves.   But for spinning?  Eh.  I wouldn't.  The Chosen One is worse, btw.

However, these are two of my favorite sabers, so that doesn't really matter to me!  I like my Sentinel for spinning and the Bellicose for dueling.
