Light Side Points please

« on: March 25, 2014, 11:53:05 PM »

Hi all,
Over the weekend I received my first Ultrasaber, needless to say I was pretty excited! I got the Standard Issue V3 in Consular Green with an Ultra Edge blade. I was asked to do a quick review once I got it, so here it goes!

The balance of the saber is almost perfect allowing ease when handling it in any manner. The hilt itself is very well made and feels very solid, the blade feels solid as well. It is incredibly bright, even in a well lit room. The Li-Ion battery set up is great as well, I recharged the batteries once after 3 days, but it really wasn't necessary, I just wanted it to be at its brightest when I showed my friends haha. The only issue I had (which is minor at worst) is that the battery pack slides around when swinging the saber (this problem was easily remedied with some foam, so is no longer an issue). So all in all, I am more than impressed with my first real saber! Thanks Ultrasabers!

The SI looks nice in CG, is it a stunt or sound saber?

No "just" about it.  That's a nice saber!  :-)  Make good use of it!

Stunt sabers are good fun, I prefer to practice with my stunt sabers.

That is the exact same saber I got as my first saber.......about a dozen sabers ago  Cheesy!!! Be careful, they are addictive.

Very nice saber. I still love mine. You will love yours for a long time too.

Let me be the first to give you a lightside point.

No worries.  :-)  I agree totally on the addiction.  They are very hard to put down.  I have mine at work and I actually pull it down and swing it around during conference calls.  Thank the LORD for wireless headsets!  :-)

It's a fine-looking 'sabre, and next on my wishlist. Point for you!
