Bellicose repaired: review

This is my second newest review of my old Bellicose. I bought it back in 2011 and since then there has been so much evolution in sabers and there capabilities.. Well, my Bellicose had some issues with the battery pack, and the soundboard (2.0) had damaged itself trying to upload a new font. I recently sent it in for repairs along with another saber that had similar injuries due to a friend throwing it across a tennis court to attempt a cowardly win against his opponent. He failed. and he broke my saber, I broke his soul *-* Anyway, The repairs were done and I was quite pleased to see this saber up and working again, so far I have had a few duels with it taking proper precautionary measures insulating my sabers internals, and it worked seamlessly. I enjoy the new program for the obsidian 3.0, it is much easier to use. It was very slow at first, but I fixed the issue in a place with better wifi signal than my dorm room. Now it works quickly and a new font can be added in a matter of 5 minutes at the most. I had to keep these reviews short, I was on the go, but to show you that these sabers are everything everyone says they are. ultrasabers was great with working with me to get the sabers fixed in a very timely manner. Not much else I can say, I am satisfied!

Nice. Can't wait to get mine working again. I might actually just send mine in for a full upgrade as well but still keep all the stuff I have on, Guardian Blue, no FOC, Obsidian, non lit av switch, silver blade holder, short groove pommel, and gold button. Then just add in hilt re-charge as well. I agree completely about the Bellicose though, probably one of the best sabers when it came out that year. Also my only saber with sound.

I am curious how much you payed for your requisition fee for sabers beyond their warranty?

Maybe it depends from person to person, but did you pay your requisition fee in addition to the upgrades you wanted?

The reason I ask is I just recently came up with 3 broken sabers, most likely due to wire problems of some sort, and would gladly send them back to be repaired and maybe a few of them upgraded with Buck-puck's and whatnot.
Surprisingly, I too have a Bellicose in need of a repair as well as two Initiates.  While my Bellicose is in VA, for whatever reason, I think it goes best in PO / FO.  I'm not sure why I haven't got a saber in either of those colors yet, being that orange is my favorite saber color, but maybe I want my order to be completely decked out with all the bells and whistles?  I'm just not sure.

Eh, maybe I should just work up the courage to email Ultrasabers instead.
