"Bluer" Violet Amethyst 2-Channel Driver Question

I feel like the answer to this is 100% obvious, but I want to make sure I know what the hell I'm doing here.    If I'm ordering a two-channel driver, what's the best setup to get the "bluer" shade of violet amethyst?  I'm not really a fan of that slight pinkish tone the dark violet amethyst has to it.  I want a "blue" sort of purple.  I don't want any hint of pinkish red to the thing.  

What say you?  Is that even possible with a 2-channel?  (R+B or such?)

Yep, just drop the Red level down... My son did the exact same thing with his Emerald Catalyst cause he wanted the darkest purple he could get...

I've also played with dropping the Blue AND Red down, the blade is not as bright, but the colour is deeper and darker.... Play with the settings till you get it just right for you

I haven't seen it, but have you considered just a Dark Violet Amethyst LED?

Although, I do agree that the best way to get exactly what you want is with a R&B Emerald driver. That way you can control how much red to blue to use. I've set up VA with a pulse on my Emerald Mantis. It pulses a half-power VA to a full power VA. Looks sweet.

Yes, a R+B would give you many shades of violet, even darker, bluer ones. It's just the way how you set the sliders - more blue, less red. I don't have my 4-ch Archon connected right now, but I think a setting around R 30-50 B 200+ gives you a nice, deep purple.

Yeah, I've dropped them to R:12 and B:44 for a deeper purple, but you're right, it's at the expense of the brightness.  On the other hand, in the dark, it's fine and not blinding!
