AV Switch without Obsidian?

Hi! I plan to buy my first saber sometime soon, an Aeon LE v3 in Adegan Silver. I really would like a silver illuminated AV switch on it, it'd look great, but I'm not prepared to dish out an extra hundred dollars for a soundboard that I don't want just to make the option available. If I asked for this in the comments, would there be a problem with it? I'm fine with paying extra for it, as long as the price increase is reasonable(which I'm sure it would be). Thanks for any help anyone would be willing to give

Sorry to say, but that's not possible. The AV switches that US would have to use for a saber without sound are too long to fit on a saber without an activation box. Now, if you ask US, the MIGHT be able and willing to add an activation box onto the saber so that an AV switch could be used.

Well, now I might just get the Obsidian. A friend got his first saber with sound recently, a Manticore, and it's been growing on me. The only reason I didn't want it in the first place was the price, but if I cut into my food budget slightly, I'll be fine. I'm in college, I'm used to not eating Thanks for the information!

Honestly the guarded switch isn't that much of a protrusion than an AV switch w/bessel. I have sabers w/both. AV switch does look pretty nice on a saber but either way works for me!

It does seem like quite the expense at first glance, but trust me when I say it's worth the extra money.  Sabers with sound are a whole different ballgame, it really kicks it up a notch.

I totally agree. I used to love my stunts, but having the sound makes the saber feel real. Its an awesome feature worth every penny.
