I finally have some duels on video and I think you guys will find it to be most entertaining Grin

Im in the black shorts, my friends in the white. After an accident that took place the previous weekend involving my staff and my friends now-bloody eyeXD we made it mandatory to wear paintball masks as face protection and sparring gloves on our dominant most hand. It has worked out very well as we have found out!

I took Shotokan a few years back and now I take Taekwondo and my friend has taken some MMA he says. I can't remember a time I wasn't a Star Wars fan and was thrilled that the forums here have really expanded on the mythology of the different styles of saber combatX) I have studied them well and incorporated them into my practices!  When the light brightens up our silhouettes you can see my preferred method of dueling and my opponents method.

Anyway, I wanted to say all that to say that I have a bit of sparring and weapons sparring experience through a few different martial arts. I am no master, but an enthusiastic learner excited to share some all-for-fun saber dueling!
I switch my styles up here so those of you interested in the seven saber forms of combat theologies might be thrilled to see the techniques! I would be thrilled to have receive feedback on what you guys think!

Excuse the camera man and his flipping the camera stunt.

I would say that I primarily use form I and form II basing my conclusion off of the knowledge gained from the forums and other readings, simple but effective! My friend just kinda reciprocates what I do, he's not as big a star wars fanatic as i am but atleast he's not afraid to be a good battle buddy!

Thank you !!!

Yes they are both fire orange, I used my Dominix V2 Raffle prize which preformed better than I ever imagined!!! and my friend used my Grab bag liberatorX)

and yesXD.. the camera man..
since I was using my fire orange dominix, I told him he was close to getting fired XP
ahhh saber humorXP
but it was supposed to be one continuous video but we would pause and circle around eachother and he thought we were stopping and cut the video. Atleast he got the actual battle on camera and not the ground or something:P

Indeed!
What were you both wearing, it was hard to make out in the low light.

We wore paintball masks and each had one sparring glove on our dominant most hand. The glove was enough to protect our left hand(s) if we chose to use a two handed technique. Cool

I applaud your decision to use safety gear (a point for your sir) !
I would encourage you to consider more and higher quality gear as your resources allow.
