I just ordered my Overlord! But had a change of heart on the colors. I ordered it in Dark Violet Amethyst with Banes's Heart FOC. I also ordered a couple of FOC Capable MLSs to see how the colors would look.

@Tom. Nice. Post a video of your new Overlord when you get it. Can't wait to get mine. I decided on getting it in SRD because a buddy of mine on YouTube demoed the color for me and I like it more and more now. So its now going to be SRD with Heavy Grade blade, Obsidian with green av button, and li-ion batteries, non FOC. I just don't really care to have FOC atm but I may send it back in the future to have that installed if possible. The SRD color choice will be dedicated to my good buddy. =] So I will have to post a video for him when I get the saber hopefully this month still. He actually talked me into getting the color and I'm glad he did. But what shade is the SRD in right now? I hear its in the see foam green shade while sometimes I see it with the blade near the emitter more blue then going green near the top of the blade which is cool. Kinda reminds me of the Halo energy sword. xp

Will a FOC MLS unit work on a non-FOC saber? For example-- if I got a Red MLS Unit with Orange FOC and put it into my Non-FOC Archon v.2 (using Quick Disconnects) would I have a Red Blade (albeit without the FOC feature)?

Two or three more good checks and I get my Overlord plus first Obsidian saber.  Plus it'll be good since December will be the big holiday sale. I got a job so yeah. I normally spend my hard earned money on Ultra Saber stuff and or anime dvds. |

yes, you'd have a red blade, or you could have an orange blade if you plug that QD plug in instead. The FOC works with TWO QD plugs, one for each color. |
