Simple Arbiter Customization

So, I got the Arbiter in the Mystery Box I ordered.  And while I love it, the black activation button in all that silver just made it look strange.  So I decided I was going to customize it a bit with some black leather or something to break up all the silver a bit.  After a bit of waffling back and forth on what I wanted, I decided to try out some simple black electrical tape on it to see what it would look like.  Here's what my Arbiter looks like now:



A simple customization, but I think it came out pretty nice.  Definitely breaks up all that silver and makes the black activation switch look more normal.

Nice Arbiter you have there, DOA40. I like the added electrical tape giving it a nice two tone

Yeah, definitely turned out better than I expected.  Really like the look of it now.

Agreed, I like the look of it even more this way. If you want to go even further you could get some O rings to slip around the grip. You could go with black to match the rest,  but I think a gold or brass color would look pretty neat as well.

E-tape is my go-to for sprucing up silver hilts. It just gives them that extra quality that makes them feel like they belong in the movies.
I actually like E-tape even better than black leather because it has a more "industrial" look as opposed to the "tribal" look that leather wraps give, IMO.

DOA40, I like what you did with this one!   Nicely done.

This another of the hilts that I have never really paid a lot of attention to, and this makes me think that was an error.   :-)

Looks great! Love what you did there.
Personally I would upgrade to the leatherwrapping. But that's just personal preference.
The look of the black and silver is great!
