Okay so I received word back from US and I wanted to make sure to share it here as there does seem to be a bit of confusion.
I sent; "If im getting an Emerald saber with sound and illuminated AV, to allow use of all 4 LED colors for the blade I can order it with channel 4 (or whatever) and just add a comment that i want in to run 'in series' with whatever channel i picked when ordering?"
The reply; "Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Ultrasabers. For about $40-$50 more you can get the Diamond Controller and would not have to worry about the AV switch being powered because there are auxiliary channels, not to mention all the cool things the Diamond controller can do and the features installed.

So just to clarify, the 'in series' options is still available, just not in red and you have to give them details in your ordering comments. Hope this helps others like it helped me!
