The Forum post announcing the product has the information, I don't have one myself to measure. "The Electrum Wind comes standard with a non-illuminated AV switch, is 1.6" wide, and 12.25" long from the top of the emitter to the bottom of the pommel."

Hi
Ultrasabers newest Mace Windu style saber has disappointed me. The proportions are off in the pomell area, which is twice the length it should be. This makes the saber over 12 inches long. At this point its a glorified flash light, Maces real saber was 10 inches, which is the perfect length. I dont know why Emory went through the trouble of designing the saber if hes going to make it oversized.

US sabers are not licensed StarWars sabers. Plus if they copied them exactly there's always the possibility of getting into legal trouble. I think they do a good job.  If you want accurate sabers your looking at the wrong company. Go buy a toy from Hasbro.

Firstly, as Jediseth said, there are legal issues.  If you want replicas, go elsewhere.

Furthermore, the hilts on screen tend to actually be on the small size to wield effectively.  The actors often have what is called a "hammer grip" on the saber, one hand right atop the other, necessitated by the small size of some of the hilts.  This is actually considered a less effective style of grip, which is definitely not good.  Lightsaber combat is based upon Kendo, which is a Japanese form of Katana fighting.  If you haven't seen kendo in action, this is what it looks like:

As you can see, the hilts on their swords are long, probably 14+ inches long, which is what you often get with Katanas.  The dominant hand goes directly under the hand guard, the nondominant hand goes around the pommel.  This offers a much better range in movement than the hammer grip.  Most people who use lightsabers in actual combat prefer a hilt of at least 12 inches, unless you're wielding it one handed.  So, while Mace Windu's lightsaber may look good on screen, and Samuel L. Jackson and his stunt double(s) obviously learned to use it in the movie style of fighting they were taught, actual use of a sword in Kendo style martial arts with that short of a handle wouldn't be very effective.

I have an Electrum Wind, I bought it right after it was released.  The 12.25-ish length is good.  Yes, it has some girth with the 1.6" grip area, but it can be wielded quite comfortably for me.  It could easily be used in lightsaber combat due to its size, which is what Ultra Sabers focuses on.  They make combat sabers, not display pieces, though they are obviously nice enough to display.

I'm also a fan of smaller sabers, but I find 12 inches is a perfectly fine length for an ultrasaber. Just for fun I measured my Hasbro Mace Windu saber and it comes in at 11.5 inches, so the US crew came in very close to the right size while also adding a TON of cool features compared to the stock Hasbro.MR replicas. remember US has to be able to fit in sound, batteries, speaker, and possibly RGB or other options, so theres a reason some of their sabers are a bit longer. Not that I dont think that the Guardian, Raven, Bane, and Arbiter couldnt stand to lose an inch or two, but the Electrum Wind is a perfectly good length and I think it'll fit my hand perfectly.
