Is there a proper way to hold the soundboard/batterypack/emerald driver on my saber when I'm inserting my micro usb into the soundboard or emerald driver. Sometimes the micro usb does not go in very easily and I'm wondering if its because of the way I'm holding it. Earlier when i plugged it in for whatever reason it wouldn't go in very easily and when I pushed a little harder it went in but i heard this grinding movement sound as if my soundboard moved. This keeps happening no matter how careful I try to be and I'm worrying that i might damage something in the way it's wired. Should I pinch the soundboard while I plug it in, hold it from the bottom, not hold it at all? I know the cable isn't the issue as I got it with my saber.

I always hold it down with my thumb while grasping around the battery pack. Don't be too gentle, the boards can hold a bit. But don't be too firm either, as this can damage the battery pack and/or the board. However, not holding it at all will more likely lead to damage on the wires and the battery pack, especially when the plug doesn't insert easily!
