Are there any plans to create a Kylo Ren replica saber?   I am also looking for a good shadow guard pike replica.  Thanks

I don't believe in most cases they are allowed to get TOO close to the look of the on-screen sabers.  Your best bet if you want a dueling-grade Kylo Ren-type saber is the Flamberge...just the plain Flamberge.  I own one and it's lots of fun. Smiley

If you want to get it closer to the movie look, to remind people more of it, I recommend weathering it or painting it to appear weathered.

As far as a shadow guard pike.  I made one using a Dark Initiate V4, and 3 yari extensions:

I like your pike.   Have you thought about putting the dark arbiter emitter on it and would that be a hard change?

Initiates have fixed emitters unfortunately.  I'd have to swap out the entire saber to have a different top.

I thought of a Dark War Glaive emitter. Smiley

UltraSabers doesn't really do replicas.  They do their own take on designs.  Aside from wanting to do their own take on things, this is also likely to avoid copyright issues that can come up from doing 100% faithful replicas.  You need an expensive license to do those, and that would raise the US prices considerably for any replicas they would make, if they went that route.

The Flamberge is definitely a Kylo-esque saber.  It looks pretty darn close, without being too close.  And any MHS compatible hilt can be turned into a pike with Yari extensions.

the normal Flamberge is the closest you'll get to a Kylo Ren style saber without buying the Kylo Ren Force FX saber

That being said, I can't stand the Force FX Kylo Ren saber if only cause the hilt is shorter and fatter than one would expect. Its just not comfortable to hold and akin to holding a brick in your hand. Aesthetically tho, you won't get a better looking hilt if you go the official route

By comparison, the Flamberge keeps the spirit of its Kylo Ren and fuses it with the spirit of a proper longsword to get something that is far more functional.

I think it breaks down into a form or function question if you ask me. Do yo want a 100% replica at the cost of being able to duel people, then the Force FX is going to be the best choice. If you want to sacrifice the 100% authenticity, but keep the spirit of the saber and make would be Jedi submit to you, then go with a Flamberge.

Thats the style you'll probably want to go with, which its a damn sexy saber in its own right. Personally, I like Consular Green, but Red is the main color of choice for the crossguard series in general.

Some of us refuse to choose just one color for our Flamberges.   Cool
