I bought an Initiate LE v4 Violet blade on 1/26/15. Later, on 1/30/15, I received my saber by mail, and was /very/ satisfied. 'Till today I switched my saber on again to find it normal, untill 5 seconds later it starts fading to a red color, showing the blue LED has failed. The saber has /not/ had any collisions or hard drops during my possession of my saber, What should I do? Is there a possible return or exchange policy? Cause im kinda steamed at 11 days since I got my saber its already showing electronic failure. I can provide a video of what it does along with order number. - Fast replies are /GREATLY/ appreciated. ![Smiley](http://saberforum.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I've also had recent trouble on my emerald saber I bought a year ago with the red channel being alot dimmer then it usually is
after the exchange of emails I'll need to send it in to US to get it looked at and repaired

Sounds like your batteries are running low, you get a burst of power when you switch it on which gives both dies enough juice, and you get the right colour. The red die draws less power than the blue, so when your batteries run low it's the blue that dims quickest, leaving you with a red saber
New batteries, or newly recharged batteries should fix the problem!

It definitely sounds like the batteries are going, which wouldn't be too surprising if you've been using it regularly for 10 days without replacing/recharging them. If a new or recharged set doesn't work, contact US direct at [email protected] with your order number to speak to them in person about it ![Smiley](http://saberforum.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi. I am assuming that you are using regular alkaline batteries for your stunt saber. Different brands will have a shorter or longer run time. On the average you should expect to get about 7 hours of use then you can tell that the batteries are draining through the LED color changes. Most members will purchase good quality rechargeable batteries such as NiMH 1.2v/800mAh. ![Smiley](http://saberforum.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
