Does anyone use the pointed blade? How does it look? I kinda liked how they looked in episode III but not sure if I should get one or not lol. Also dose anyone know if you can request a saber to come with I believe it's called a d-ring instead of the covertech? I feel like that's a more classic look for "holstering" the saber

I have a couple of blades with pointed tips, it looks okay but I prefer the rounded ones.  It just isn't worth an extra $5 bucks to me to have a pointed tip.  I could be wrong, but as far as I know US doesn't do D-rings.  You would have to get a D-ring somewhere else and install it yourself.

Molina is correct, ultra sabers only offers the covertec wheel, they do not offer the option for D rings.

I never cared for the pointed tips, they don't light up with the rest of the blade unless you mod them.
The rounded tips don't really light up either, but they are low profile and it's less noticable.
