Title: Mace Windu DVA Conversion finale
Post by: JdiKnhtJMH on September 19, 2012, 07:36:47 AM
I have converted 3 Mace Windu sabers. The first one was to be my own, but I ended up selling it to another forum member who made a very kind offer on it. The second one I decided to sell as well, as the LED color wasnt perfect. This one, this one I'm keeping.  I didnt just do this one like the others either. I tightened the slider so it wont switch as easily, and I drilled out the little dimples in the emitter so it would be a bit more like the emitter on a Liberator. Heres some pics!

My buddy has the mace windu Mr too, I  need to convince him to get it converted. That looks beautiful! I love the wholesaler drilled out I wanted to that on my Buddys saber too.

The MR? Ooooh... all my covnersions are on Hasbros. I've opened up an MR Mace and theres nothing I can do with those things. The Hasbro Mace has its problems (why did they attach the wires for the activator with literally nothing but a little bit of spit?) but it at least has space for all the bits inside.

Thanks very much, I'm very glad that US got me just the right color for this thing. If you look on the stock mace its blue LEDs filtering through a pink wrapping, so naturally any LED you put in one should be majority blue. DVA is perfect for that. Thanks for the comments, I'm really proud of this one!

You should be proud.  It is an excellent job that you have done and you didn't stop until you got it the way that you wanted it.  I applaud your persistence.  Great job and hope to see more of these in the future from you.

Well I think its the MR, his and my darth maul were, and took the blade and led string out out of mine and I  totally killed my MR luke, maybe that's why he won't let me mess with his... is there a conversion kit for the MR Darth maul? Does US still have them?

Mr Darth Maul can be converted pretty easily, I've done it before. Just shoot US an email
