I originally posted this in the gallery. If you already seen it I am sorry. Most of the time that I am on the forum I am on my cell phone. Kind of hard to navigate and I am just now learning my way around.

My first ultrasaber came in the mail today. Really had no clue what to say on camera but was having a blast opening it. First video is of me opening the box. Second video is dueling. Me verses katzsmith. He got his first saber today also. His wife makes a short appearance in this video but hopefully Katz will post a video on his own.

Very nice....now you got me thinking on the bellicose.  Loved the dueling video...did both of you guys have FoC, it was hard to tell.  I was just like WOW while watching this and I was glad you got both sabers on the same day :)   May the Force be with you friend :)

Yes we both have flash on clash. Mine is white but not sure what color his is. Dueling with these sabers is nice! They don't hurt nearly as bad as PVC lol.

I video taped Katz unwrapping his but he won't let me post until he watches the video first lol

The Bellicose was my first saber with sound. It's a great choice and I'm glad you are enjoying it!

Nice! Did your friend like his saber? My favorite lightsaber color has always been blue since I first saw Obi-wan power his lightsaber in ANH so thats why I just wen't with Guardian Blue on my Bellicose. =] Glad you like your saber. Did you notice any like, rattling and vibration near the blade holder area? I know that's probably normal for the Bellicose though since its just a long hilt.

If you tighten down both screws at that end (one holding the blade in the blade holder, one from the blade holder to the hilt) it should eliminate any rattle.  I noticed a bit of shaking too, until Artorius bolted those puppies down.  Fixed it just fine!

There was absolutely no rattle at all. There was some very minor damage but nothing really to complain about. If yours is rattling, I recommend reading the above post. He is probably 100 percent correct.

Yes.... Katz absolutely loved his saber. His wife said he was floating around the house last night because he was so happy lol

micah, Hello and Congratulations on your first ultrasaber!
I am relatively new to the forums myself, as I only joined up about a month ago, so welcome and thank you so much for showing us the unboxing.  I truly enjoy them, as I do not have an ultrasaber myself.  I hope to get one soon, but thats for later.  I was not expecting to see a dueling video, and even the third video was an excellent demonstration of the different rgb colors in complete darkness. 

You two definitely have some skills dueling.  It looks amazing to watch.  If you two werent aiming for hits, you could make a great show out of sparing or synchronizing a fight scene.  (Could be a great idea for another post = coreographed fight scene)

On a completely unrelated note, and this could be for anyone who has ever done an ultrasabers unboxing review, I pose a question.  If I see bubble wrap, anywhere, I pop the heck out of it.  Yes I am 27 years young, (way way young) But I don't think I will ever be able to help myself.  Do you guys pop it?  Because i never once see anyone pop the bubble wrap in any of the Ultrasabers reviews.  Maybe I am OCD, but each time I notice somone neatly unwrapping it, I just want to run in and pop it SOOO BAD. LOL.!  I think i should listen to popcorn popping while watching unboxing videos, maybe that will help. 

Anyways, I cant wait to see your buddie's video.  Tell him to post it up and dont be shy.  we all cant wait!

I loved the opening video.  You started all calm and as it progressed, I thought you were going to move faster than light to get past that bubble wrap.  Like the table you go there as well.  Pretty cool setup for an opening video.  The Bellicose is a saber that has a fan base right here on the forums.  I am glad that you liked it and the secret you kept from your friend with his wife was something else.  Nothing beats opening that first saber but now you are part of the addiction and you are going to be ordering many more in the future.  Just watch and see.  Again, thanks for the videos as it helps my nights pass much faster at work.

Buddy…the moment I shut the video off I ran straight to the bubble wrap lmao….I am 19 (twice now) and just didn’t want anyone to see me act 3 lol. (for those that cant add…im 38 lol)

I would take a video for you but all the bubble wrap has been killed already.

The moment I could actually see the saber thru the bubble wrap…I really didn’t much care about the review. I just wanted to play lol. I totally lost my cool but you know what, I had a blast loosing it and I cant wait until the next saber. BTW, when I shewed her away, it was actually an inside joke. i really wasnt being an A@@s lol


On another note, check out this post I did this morning. I absolutely can not believe how durrible the blades are. We were not playing. We really were going for the win. This is from last nights saber meet.

So how you enjoying your Bellicose? Is the saber abit longer with the RGB switches? And also did you notice any shaking near the blade holder area when you hit the blade? And did you have any problems getting that shroud screw off? I did on mine. Not the main blade holder screws but the outer shroud screw. The thumb screw.

Absolutely love this hilt. I just ordered one out of the grab bag so I don’t screw this one up when dueling.

I didn’t have any problems at all with my saber. There was a minor issue with some other stuff but ultrasabers corrected the problem immediately. If you have any issues I recommend contacting them. They have already proven to me that they will do there customers right.

Make sure all your screws are tight. Sounds like one or two is loose.

That's what I'm thinking but I can't get that one shroud screw to get loose for some reason and I don't have the money to send my saber back just for that one small problem. Its like the screw that holds the shroud onto place. That small outer thumb screw thing. Wonder if anyone else has had that problem. I don't think nothing is loose though. It was just that I didn't screw in the pommel all the way on one night. :P Just the vibration from blade hitting is kind of annoying but hence the Bellicose is a much longer hilt then what I'm used to I'm guessing that's normal. The Bellicose is a dream to spin with though.

You mean the one that holds the blade holder in?  Idk if you got the wrench to go with it, but it's basically just a small allen wrench that will do it.
