Today at 12:30pm my Bane that I purchased finally arrived. :P  I am so happy that I got this saber, it was going to originally be my first ultrasaber a year back but the archon v2 stole the spot lite from it at the moment. now that i have the Bane in my hands I am so glad I waited for it, reason being. I notice as time goes by and the years go on, Ultrasabers improves there art, The things they do to craft there sabers and methods they use to improve saber even older models is amazing. Im verry impressed with the craftsmanship of the whole hilt. I ask you to compare a hilt bought now compared to a hilt bought last year and you can see what I mean..Its just awsome to see a company strive and evolve to better there products. I admire this and the customer service of Ultrasabers  the most out of any Ultrasaber experience. This is why they are the best at this craft and are the Alphas in the saber buisness.

anyways... back to my Bane saber, I am surprized by the weight of this saber. It so far is the heaviest of my growing collection of my Ultrasabers. Im not saying the weight is cumbersom...by all means its not. you can definitly feel a diference. I belive the Bane was meant to be a two handed saber but i'm 6'2 and i have really large hands so I can one hand this saber with ease, and this I like :P  I was verry surprized that my Bane saber came with a covertec clip, I was totally not expecting that but it is an added awsomeness to this saber. The blade LED color that I chose for my saber was DVA to match up traditionally woth the dark horse comic version of Darth Banes saber, also after readin the new Dawn of the Jedi comics, the sith character in the comic book saber blade is purple, So that added some insperation to my saber as well, I plan on doing my own custom work to my Bane hilt later on after I order some leather work suplies. Im planing on adding some leather work to this hilt.To "In a way make it my own", so it doesent look like other Bane sabers I have seen on the internet so far. Along with the DVA LED I chose flash on clash silver, ahhhh its a thing of beauty :P   

This saber I highly recomend to any fellow Sith on here.  I urge you dont pass this hilt up, you are definitly missing out.

Great review, I'm glad you like the hilt and I say the same thing as you, more people need this saber; it feels like a real two handed hilt.

Point, also did you get the 40"in blade?

Thank you,  I do not have a 40" blade yet......I say yet because after handling the Bane hilt I soooooo want a 40" blade for this saber, It cries for a 40 inch blade. I really just cant say enough of how pleased I am with this saber, its my new favorite out of my collection. I do plan on ordering a Pyrestone LED module later on for an alternate color for my Bane saber, I am so glad I went with the quick disconect option. I know I was whining about the Malice being released after I placed the order for my Bane but man Im totally not sad at all now, The Bane saber Is awsome!

While I don't have a Bane, I do have a Raven, which is a very large saber as well.  I have been curious about putting a 40" blade on it to make up for the real estate lost due to the claws.  So, by all means, let us know how that goes when you do it.

You have to upload them to a image hosting site(imageshack, photobucket, etc), then grab the links and post them here.

granted these are not the best pictures I could possibly post but its all i can do for now till I can buy a good digital camera. these pictures dont do the Bane saber Justice but the LED's on this saber will blind you lol.  And for those who want to know , That is Ventress standing next to my Bane saber, shes a sideshow collectable doll that I found in a local comic book shop :P

as I dont own a 40'' blade at the moment, I did do some experimenting with an ultra edge blade and must say that an Ultra Edge blade with a DVA LED is beautiful.  now if only they made a 40'' ultra edge blade that would be awsome.
