Title: Raven question Post by: Darth Mortis on March 30, 2012, 04:15:21 PM I got my raven pair today and I need to know what is size retention screw wrench do I need to take off the claws and what would cause one of my blade holders to get stuck?
Title: Re: Raven question Post by: Kaiden Shardsbane on March 30, 2012, 05:20:37 PM Ok... the wrench you'll need for the claws is two sizes bigger than the one you'll need for the normal tension screws. Sorry I can't give numbers; the measurements wore off on my hex wrench case.
Blade holder getting stuck could be a number of things. Remember that there are TWO tension screws for the blade holder, not just one. Other than that, it could be just the grooves on the blade holder catching on something. try wiggling it a bit and see if that loosens things. I think on of the claw screws is keeping it in place by being in one of the grooves of the blade holder cause it will spin all the way around.
