Title: Sith Acolyte Robes (WIP)
Post by: Darth Unobtanium on February 07, 2012, 03:27:33 AM
So I decided to gather some scraps of cloth, my old homemade grim reaper costume, and a belt in the hope of putting together a decently authentic-looking Sith outfit. As far as I can see, all I need are some pants and boots and I'm pretty much set. What do you think?

Better than great the fabric looks like a nice heavy weight.

The fabric is definitely not your standard "halloween-plasti-silk." I definitely wanted a heavier fabric so that it looks as bulky/authentic as possible.

Well A+ to you. Here's a point.

Hows the saber holster work?

The saber holster's mostly for show. It hold the saber, but i wouldn't trust it to be too secure.

I'm not a fan of the black jeans, but the rest of it looks sharp. 8)

They're regular jeans. I haven't made a set of pants to go with it yet :p I was just showing off what I've completed so far.

What materials did you use? It almost looks like a heavy sweater mixed with a bathrobe.

Very Nice, You might consider going with karater outfit pants, they'lll give you good manuverability, as for the holster, I recommend looking at the belt clip system on ultra saber.  Major props though the top looks seriously authentic, I can't wait to see the rest!
