Title: Diamond Controller Question
Post by: Rahllin on December 13, 2019, 01:17:59 AM
So, I am just getting into sabers, anxiously waiting on my first two that I ordered from Ultrasabers within the past few days.
I have found myself browsing sabers in my free time, completely enthralled in the idea of forming a collection.

I most recently started playing around with deciding which saber I think I would want with the diamond controller. I am confused as to the configuration of it to order one. If the diamond controller is capable of changing colors, why does the order configuration require you to choose a single color option?

Because they need to ship it out with some sort of configuration.  You can change it all you want later through the launcher program.

This is exactly the reason!  I would recommend that you choose a color for the Diamond Pulse Mode, because none of the other pre-installed fonts will pulse, and this will let you see what the effect looks like.  All the other pre-installed fonts have Aegean Silver (or white, to the uninitiated) as the Flash on Clash color, so feel free to choose something other than that for your FoC... but you might want to be sure it will contrast with both of the Pulse colors, or it might not be as much fun.  Then again, you’ll be able to monkey around with that on your own later once you feel adventurous enough to use the Controller software, so... use your best guess.

They got it right. Make sure your FOC is something dramatic/totally opposite of your main blade color. The effect will really stand out. As for the Diamond controller, I only have one diamond saber (so far) and for me, it's been a slow process learning to use it. BUT, it's becoming more fun as I learn more about how to really use it. I don't know if I will have many more, but I think we should (if possible) all have at least one diamond saber. Anyway, pics when those sabers arrive or it never happened.
