Title: Sentinel Conversion
Post by: Creative Force on August 31, 2018, 06:54:24 PM
Earlier this year I received a Mystery Box with a Sentinel LE V4 in Orange, stunt saber set up. Loved the hilt, the color and sound not so much. So like a true padawan, I learned the ways of saber building and converted it to a blade that suited me more. Here is the original https://imgur.com/WJSictg (https://imgur.com/WJSictg).

And here's the result.

very happy with the result.

Wow, that looks sweet and the colors compliment perfectly. How did you do the designs?

Hey there, CF. Great Sentinel there and I love what you did to the hilt as well as the color change!  I too would like to know how you designed the hilt. Is that copper color that I see?  Point

Thanks everyone!
It's actually not paint. It's vinyl. I'm terrible at painting, but can draw all sorts of things on CAD. A little drafting and the use of my wife's Cri-cut, paired with some metallic vinyl and you can see the result.

That's amazing, I'm currently learning how to use CAD myself but it's hard for me.  Slowly but surely, great work you did there.

That's really cool. My sister just came into possession of a Cricut machine so you've given me some great ideas now. Thanks!

Very cool work there, CF. I wouldn't have believed that wasn't paint until you said so

That looks amazing, love the intricacy of the metallic vinyl cutout - must have been a bugger to apply, and keep the nice clean lines!
