Title: First Purchase Post by: Alreg on December 10, 2017, 01:51:25 PM Just got my first purchase ever from Ultra Sabers (two 75 dollar mystery boxes). I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my son. I couldn't afford to purchase a custom hilt with sound, so I decided to roll the dice on the mystery box knowing that I would get two nice sabers of high quality that he could enjoy even if they arrived without a sound upgrade. I wanted to keep the box closed until Christmas, but curiosity got the best of me. I opened the box carefully so that I could repack everything as it came (so that my son can open it on Christmas morning as a mystery box). The first saber was an apprentice LE with windows, AV button and green LED (no sound). It has a value of around $105 and looks amazing. I was elated when I pulled the second hilt out of the box and saw that white paper (which basically told me that it had sound). When I read the paper, it said that it had the EMERALD DRIVER and I nearly fell over. As I continued to unpack the hilt, I thought that I was dreaming when I saw that beautiful CHOSEN ONE hilt emerge from the wrapping. This saber has a value of approximately $450. Not only that, this is my sons favorite hilt (he's a big Darth Vader fan.....and who isn't!!!). The LED came programmed with blue/green lighting and no flash on clash, but I plugged in the saber into my computer and programmed the lighting for red with flash on clash and modified the flash to the color and pulsation pattern that I found attractive to my taste. I repacked everything and the box is now hidden until Christmas morning when my son will fully CRAP HIS PANTS upon opening!!! I CANNOT THANK ULTRA SABERS ENOUGH!!! CHRISTMAS MIRACLES REALLY DO HAPPEN!!!
