Does anyone know if they changed the pommel design on the Prophecy?  I recently got to look at a friend's new one, and it clearly has a different pommel.

I kinda like it, and wouldn't mind getting one, if the folks at Ultrasabers decide to sell it separately.

I bought two of the pommels recently (within the last month) and they were both the old style which I personally prefer. I've never seen an option to get those Apprentice style ones in the store. Maybe they were just out of the normal Prophecy one and used an Apprentice one as a substitute?

Hmm. Yeah. I kinda like the new V4 design better. Was probably just a replacement for now. I'm surprised you don't get a Consular pommel for yours though

Yeah, I guess it may just be an Apprentice pommel.  Looks neat though, I'm considering getting one for mine eventually.


I've heard good things about that combo, but I find most pommels to be a bit large for the super-slim Prophecy body.

I ordered my Dark Prophecy last summer (2016), and I got the recessed pommel. But I remember another person on the forums had ordered one at about the same time, just slightly before, and had gotten the standard stock pommel. If I remember correctly, that person had been disappointed and contacted US, who shipped that person the recessed pommel.

So I think Isola's right. I think they might use that one as a substitute, but if you don't like it, you can get it changed. I like the recessed ones, personally.

Another cool idea to do probably wont though, sand the top of the emitter silver then get an Overlord pommel to kinda mirror it, I think that would look really cool and make your signature Prophecy pop even more. Just an idea though :P
