I opened up my raffle prize saber (emerald crimson scorpion w/V4 sound) to plug in to the emeraldand obsidian cards and noticed that the speaker is detached from the battery pack. If you still have sound, then the wiring connections are good. The issue would be with how the speaker is adhered to the battery pack. I don't know about your raffle prize, but I know that US repaired an issue with a free saber I received as part of a promotion. They stand behind their products and craftsmanship.
