For the SECOND Spring Raffle of 2016 we increased the total number of winners from 95 to 110!

We increased the number of second place winners to 30 and the number of fourth prize winners to 36 for a total of ONE HUNDRED [AND] TEN WINNERS!  Once again, no one else is out here giving away 100+ sabers in a raffle :)  Here at Ultrasabers, we do this for YOU guys and we do it pretty often!  And we LOVE it and we're going to keep on doing it :-)  ENJOY!

This is the second raffle I've entered and while I came up empty the first time, I'm coming away from this one with a third place prize. Stuff like this is why UltraSabers is awesome. The other guys don't do things like that. Congrats to everyone else that won and a big thanks to UltraSabers.

Ok, so the Saber I bought that I'm pretty sure got me here is an Aeon v4 with Obsidian v4 sound and an arctic blue blade. Not for me though...I have a close friend who said (jokingly) instead of an engagement ring she'd want a sweet ultrasaber. Well...Aeon looked pretty sweet  ;)

All night long, I had recurring dreams that are mostly fuzzy, but I remember that I kept on waking up having dreamed that I had won.  Curiously enough, I recall that I never woke with the impression of winning the Emerald prize, because I knew full well what I'd choose if I were to win that, and I only had a fuzzy and vague notion of a single saber, not of both a Graflex SE and Chosen One SE.  I had to keep telling myself "No, you didn't win, you're still in bed, and haven't even checked the forum yet, go back to sleep.

I even missed my name on the list, on the first read through.  I was a little disappointed, but I still have awesome sabers inbound.

But, I took one more skim through the lists of forum names, and holy crap!  There I was!

What a pleasant surprise. I won a third prize saber! Thank you so much US. Congrats to all the other winners. I was happy just to look forward to the Bane I ordered and participate. So, I guess I'll be posting pics of two new sabers soon.

Holy cow. Likewise, I never win at raffles and giveaways..just woke up and checked to see a second place prize will be coming soon.  My first saber is arriving today so it feels like Christmas here.  Thanks so much to Emory and the crew at Ultrasabers for the assistance and answering my multitude of questions leading up to my purchase. I'm hoping for a Aeon LE v4 in SRD, but I'll be happy with anything really.

The only specific thing I'm hoping for is that my 2-channel is either B/G or B/R.

But it's packaged up and awaiting FedEx, so whatever it will be, it will be, and I'll be grateful for it and to Ultrasabers for not only the giveaway, but for what was clearly a big push to get the winning orders and prizes out the door as quickly after the winners were picked as was possible.  Seriously, everyone would understand if things backed up a little bit with the rapid surges of orders lately between the two raffles and the Initiate giveaway, but US didn't rest on their laurels and a bunch of folks already have shipping notices.  That is awesome, and first rate.

I 2nd that, I was amazed it shipped this morning.  I agree it will be whatever it will be but was just curious if folks secretly were hoping for something specific. I wouldn't mind a Bane or mantis actually but that is wishful thinking on my part. Either way it is awesome for them doing the raffle for their customers.

I've not had a chance to handle an Aeon or Dominix v4, so it'd be nice to test one of those, but I'm certainly not feeling picky!

I've noticed that whenever I add a hilt to my wishlist, I'm very particular, and there's most likely a good reason for me wanting that specific saber.

When it's a prize though, I'm way more open to different hilts - Consular, Belicose, Archon, Guardian...not ones I'd be likely to order on my own.

Aeon, SI, Liberator, Arbiter - also ones I'd pass over.

I'll be beyond excited to just receive my entry saber though - except now I get two. :)

US is fan-bloody-tastic.

Well, I think it's fair to say that my fellow 1st prize winners and I can be sure of a few hilts that we won't be getting.  Since the prize has both sound and Emerald 2-channel, that knocks the Prophecy out.  Since neither the Renegade nor Flamberge have 2-channel as an option, those are also out.  Unless US got a wild hair and tried out that notion I had of a 2-channel with BR main blade and the second channel running BR on either side, which would be useful, pretty much, only for adding blade flicker.  But that's unlikely, so I think those three hilts are safely out.

Of course, I don't think we saw any unreleased or pre-production hilts out of the first spring raffle, so maybe we'll see some this time around.  Maybe a pipe dream, but boy would I love the rumored hilt modeled off of a certain Togruta padawan's saber, in B/G 2-channel...mmmmmmmm...

I think for me, being a first time winner of anything really, I will gladly and humbly take anything. 4th prize is still 4th prize. I am just thankful that Ultrasabers put on a second raffle. I am not picky what I receive, I will be happy no matter what.

Don't get me, or, I suspect, the others who are pondering what they might get, wrong.  I think everyone here is extraordinarily thrilled to have won anything at all.  But it's human nature to hope that it's a hilt that you really like and want.  Either way, It'll be awesome and will always remind me of how well this company treats and thinks of its customers.

I'm not sure if I'm unique in not particularly caring which hilt is sent to me (with the exception of some sort of prototype/unreleased hilt).
I plan to customize whatever it is - part of the fun is not knowing what it will be. I'm just happy to have another project on its way.

Personally, I hope you get something utterly unfamiliar to you, something unlike any weathering/customizing you've ever done.  I think it's neat to see new lines of thought and new horizons reached.  Whatever it is, I look forward to seeing it.

If there was one saber at the top of my wishlist that I would want as my prize, I would want the Overlord, something about it calls to me. Otherwise I am not picky, just happy I won something for the first time in my life.

I think perhaps my previous post was misunderstood.

All those sabers I listed as not looking closely at, I'd be more than happy to get.

Of course we all hope for something right off our wishlists, but I'll be happy no matter what I get.

I already am happy right now. :)

I'll be happy with whatever I get,  but if it ends up being a purple Shock LE, I know what I'll name it.

Yes.  But it's still early in TX.  Hopefully by the end of the day that will be a no.

I did not yet but I only ordered it Friday afternoon then I got a second place so both sabers need full sound installs. It shouldn't be too long I expect. I'm OK though. I have all my other ones to play with til they arrive.

My Bane is also coming on  Revenge of the Fifth. And the package weight is double what it usually is. My raffle prize is coming too!

I just noticed that my Dark Apprentice V4 stunt staff, which will be arriving on the same day as my entry and prize, is listed at 4 pounds, while the package which has my entry and prize is listed as 6.  However, the entry/prize package also includes an extra UEHG blade, so that throws off the weight.

Who the heck knows, all I know for sure is it's going to be a saberlicious Revenge of the Fifth.

Interestingly m9ney too 8s scheduled to arrive on the fifth. So u get my sabers, get to play with them for a little bit, then off to Civil war (non galactic).

Well, all of my previous orders contained one saber and weighed two pounds. Your staff is two sabers so that accounts for four pounds. Your UEHG probably weighs two pounds. That leaves four pounds which would be two sabers, thus your prize is coming.

It will be a glorious Thursday.

My entry and prize were supposed to be here today, but for some strange reason, FedEx got this weird impression that I wasn't home..... -_- I was in my home office at the front of the house and never even saw a FedEx guy come to the door. I decide to look at the tracking info and it says "customer not available." Uh, hello, I was here the whole time!

That's frustrating. It's hard enough waiting for these great sabers without a FedEx driver causing a delay.

if you can send it to a FedEx location and pick it up after work or something, that's what I had to do after fedex failed to deliver twice. And that was with a shipment release form signed and taped to the door

And that's one of the reasons why I divert all Ultrasabers shipments via FedEx to the local FedEx store.  The other being that I'm usually out of the house, and while I can stick the form on my door for them to just leave it, I'd rather not just have my sabers hanging out on the porch all day.

I got a shipping notice sunday also, though I wasn't sure if it would be just my saber that I bought or it combined with the raffle. From this thread I'm really hoping that when it comes later today (May the 4th!) it'll be both. Especially since...


I'm 99% sure that I ordered my (first ever) saber (Dark Sentinel) with an UEHG blade and my package weighs in at 5 pounds. Little lighter than the 6 pounds brought up in discussion, but with different hilt styles and stuff I'd say plausible still.

It's common practice for US to ship any prize sabers with the winning entry. :)

To be honest that was my thought, why ship two boxes when you could ship one, but as I've not had many dealings with US before now you never know. Winning sabers may not be built, may be different departments handling shipping vs building who don't see I have a saber in the works/ready to ship, the winning order could have been placed at start of raffle :p. Though in fairness mine was placed monday before raffle ended so with the 3-5 day lead time it fell in quite nicely, winning is just a nice bonus.

In all seriousness though, thanks. I've hopefully got everything covered but only time will tell. Also I know it's been said a lot, but thanks to US for this raffle and everything. Again all this has been my first real experience (outside some chatting here as I was deciding on buying/not) and I have to say that I'm super pleased with everything so far. Now just to wait and hope FedEx doesn't mess things up....

I placed my raffle entry order on day two I think.  I ordered a Prophecy though - they're on backorder.

Looks like people are starting to get their sabers, which is awesome to see. Still (im)patiently waiting for FedEx to get here. Looks like none of the other First Prize people have gotten theirs yet though, but of course there were lots fewer of them relatively speaking so it isn't too surprising. Still if we were to see any prototypes or newer things I think it may be there.

OMG! I just received my First Prize saber, it's a guardian which is looking really awesome, but I have to say that I am EXTREMELY surprised. I posted in the gallery thread already, but before I have to run out I hooked it up to my computer. It's NOT, I repeat NOT, a 2channel driver! I got a FULL 4 Channel RGB+W driver on mine.

Weren't the 4th Prizes Grab Bags? 0.o Definitely speaks to US as a company for doing things like that. I should also mention (though it may not be as spectacular) that it's the v4 sound too. Not sure how to tell if it's one of the plated finishes or base though, and my cameras just aren't taking any good pics today of things/them. Saturday I'm going to see family who has a good DSLR camera though so I'll take them with me and get some good shots then at least.

FedEx here is funny, they'll not show it on the truck until mid morning.  If I didn't have long experience with how they do things, I'd panic about now.   ;D

So when I turned on my lights I noticed the Scorpion I won has a red finish instead of the orange. Taking pictures ASAP for you all.

Mine arrived, Entry Dark Menace saber has the wrong emitter sleeve and the 4th place is the plain Aeon v4.


Little disappointed to say the least. I will email US about the emitter but if they make me send the saber back I will likely just leave it as is and deal with it. Kind of sucks being they have been holding that order for 23 days and its still wrong  :( Last order had a trashed blade. I think I will be taking a break from anymore sabers for a while because QC is slipping based on my last 2 orders.


Sorry if my post upsets anyone, but I feel I needed to vent a little considering how much these sabers are for this to happen. I'll post pics n the pic thread shortly.

Mine arrived!! Posted pics in the gallery, but my 1st place prize was a Crimson Scorpion (2 channel Emerald Red/White).  Entry was an SRD Manticore CE with V4 sound.  Thanks Ultrasabers!!!

On a side note, I cannot unscrew the pommel of the Crimson Scorpion (almost cutting my hand trying).  Anyone have a suggestion on how to unscrew it when it's on really tight?

Padded jaw pliers, or, my personal recommendation, a strap wrench.

I was able to remove the pommel by screwing a Shock emitter to the end of the pommel to get more room to grip.

Also, since removing the pommel I plugged in the prize, and it is 4 Channel!  All 4 channels are in the blade.

At the FedEx store, snuck a peek in the end of the box, my prize appears to be a Crimson Scorpion...stand by.


Okay, definitely a Crimson Scorpion.  I was a lucky one and it has the full RGBW 4-channel driver and Obsidian V4 sound.

Since I was going to be filming a review of my recent Scorpion purchase, this will give me the chance to review two of them at once, one regular Scorpion in RGBA Emerald with V4 sound, recharge port, no claw, and the new Crimson, as mentioned above.

It came set to pulse between a purple and green color, I've since set it to my Sithy BR flicker with PO FoC, although I'll have to modify it a little bit, since I use the Amber channel to help make a good PO on my regular Scorpion, so on this saber it's mixing in white instead.

My Bane is fantastic :) My prize was a Dark Initiate LE v4 with a Blazing Red blade and stunt AV switch. It looks great, and I suspect my youngest has just got her first 'sabre ;D

Hey all final got pics of the new acquisitions! On the left is my entry saber, an Initiate v4 in VA with Obsidian v4 (my wife's bday present) and on the right is my 3rd place raffle win, a Dark Apprentice v4 in GB.
