Title: Silver Flash on Clash not silver? Post by: cujoe_da_man on April 14, 2016, 11:08:11 PM After I got my order today and was playing around, I noted that my flash on clash was flashing a distinct blue color and was curious if this was normal. The blade color I got is Adegan Silver, so I assumed that silver FoC would just mean a brighter blade when it strikes. My Mantis has FoC as well, but being Violet Amethyst, it would certainly throw the color off and maybe I just haven't noticed it. Anyone have some input?

I bought a custom Tri-Cree in Red/Orange, Amber & Green. the hope was that the R/O & A would make a nice deep Orange, which they do, and that the Green would be my FoC led and make the blade a Yellow during FoC. Well, the FoC is straight Green, lol. The Green totally drowns out the Orange. It's weird. I going to try some things, but, I may be ordering another custome Cree in Red/Orange, Amber, Amber and use one of the Ambers for the FoC. IDK yet. ;)Title: Re: Silver Flash on Clash not silver? I ordered my wife's Sentinel in Violet Amethyst with no FoC. Later on I found a way to add the FoC using the original led that she had. Only two of the three led die were were being used. So I wired up the third die for the FoC. Now she has a VA blade with Sun Rider's Destiny FoC. :P I'm assuming that third die was Green since there is a Red and a Blue for the VA. |
