An Obsidian sound board can be installed and the battery pack will have to be upgraded for Li-Ion, and either a Buckpuck or resistors will have to be added. Not hard, just a lot of re-wiring. US can do it or it could be a DIY project if you're comfortable soldering.

You can order the Obsidian board from US, or there are ... other options. I have seen plans to harvest the board from the cheap plastic sabers they sell as toys in Wal-Mart for example, though the sound quality and such are far inferior to Obsidian sound. Sit tight, I'm sure JediXIX or one of the other real sabersmiths will be along shortly with far more detail. Another good idea would be to search the customization board for threads about adding sound, or re-post the question there, you'll get a far better answer. :-) Title: Re: Adding sound Post by: Firwik Howlo on March 08, 2016, 07:51:43 PM If you have the skills you should most definitely do it yourself. The cost to send It back and get sound added is quite expensive. I'm sure there are tutorials on how to do it (not entirely sure but I imagine.)
