Title: One of the greatest rock bands ever withdraw from stage....
Post by: Racona Nova on February 02, 2016, 08:27:26 PM
On Feb 1, the famous British rock band "Status Quo" announced their ultimate retirement from touring the big (and small) stages all around the world. There will be no further live shows after December 2016!

For almost 50 years, Status Quo played countless shows, released dozens of albums, over 100 singles and many memorable tracks including "Whatever You Want", "Down Down", "In the Army Now" and of course the cover version of John Fogerty's "Rockin' all over the World" which should become their tag track.

We all wish them the best for the future, even when their lives will never be the same after the final "three chords" on stage.

Yeah, well, they weren't that successful in the U.S. than in Europe and Australia. So that's why you might not have heard anything of them in the U.S. :)
