I competed in our West Coast World Martial Arts Association intermural tournament today, and once again did an open saber form. I chose to use my Crystal Focus V5 Ultra Bane, and toward the end, my newly acquired Overlord as a shoto. The form went very well (even though I accidentally shut the saber off halfway thru, even with the CF set APOP, lol) and my judge was none other than my grandmaster instructor, Master Ernie Reyes Sr. He seemed to like the form, and gave me a couple of "thumbs up" for approval. That made my day. :D Forms Specs: Ultra Bane with Crystal Focus V5 Ultra Overlord with a 24" blade for a shoto ;) Special mix of "Duel Of The Fates" with a saber ignition byte, and a couple of Sidious sound bytes mixed in. I'd be afraid to clank them together (as i have done with smaller sabers).
