Title: War Glaive "NOOB" question Post by: Smutpedler on January 31, 2014, 01:38:58 PM Hi all, recently picked up a second hand War Glaive in the UK and the emitter seems to be very solidly on the hilt. Before I use a vice and some elbow grease, my question is; was there an older version of the War Glaive where the emitter and hilt were machined from a solid piece? I just don't want to spend a while trying to break the back of a thread if there isn't a thread there! Help would be greatly appreciated :)

I don't believe there was a version of the War Glaive that was a solid hilt before. I believe it was always an MHS saber. The rubber belt won't scratch your hilt, and I think it's also better for the threads. Title: Re: War Glaive "NOOB" question Post by: digitalsithlord on January 31, 2014, 07:03:15 PM The war glaive design has stayed consistent with no design changes...I agree with the advice above for getting emitter off
Title: Re: Post by: Smutpedler on January 31, 2014, 09:32:30 PM I was going to line the vice with rubber so as not to damage it, just couldn't get a good grip myself. Managed to get it loose anyways, cheers guys! Apologies if I seem dumb :)
