Title: the Reaper engravings
Post by: realmoe on November 22, 2013, 03:00:48 PM
Is it possible to order the reaper series without the custom etchings? I like the saber and the claws but the item i could do without would be the etchings. If the etchings are mandatory is it possible to using MHS parts to assemble a similar saber with emitter and pommel?
Thanks it is a beautiful saber but... I was thinking a little more simple for myself.

thank you

I doubt it (though you could always email them just to be sure), but you could always do a simple wrap over the etchings, which would both cover up the design and give you a better grip. The standard issue also has a slanted emitter (and installing claws is fairly simple provided you can drill a hole)

I believe their hilts are machined in Arizona, not in California. So aside from an email, inquiring about a possible custom, I don't believe that this can be done. If you email them at [email protected],  they will give a definitive answer. Best of luck!  :)

Maybe a Dark Shock body and then put on the emitter and pommel with claws.  That is the best way I can think.

Very good... can I order the parts and have them assemble? I've not tried to put together sound and power. The website doesn't list speakers in parts.

The speaker is sold as a battery pack/speaker combo. They can be found here: http://www.ultrasabers.com/category-s/92.htm (http://www.ultrasabers.com/category-s/92.htm) Also, you must have some experience in soldering for electronic DIY builds/mods/repairs of sabers! But there's plenty of information around the forum about this topic.

they will not put them together for you.  I suggest purchasing a Shock saber and then ordering the Reaper emitter and pommel to change out.  That will prevent you from having to do any electronics work yourself.
